GFC Farms is looking to add a proven, high-quality, registerable St. Croix ram to our flock located in middle Georgia. We value data and are ready to pay for exceptional genetics and performance.
Health & Testing Requirements:
- Major Diseases: Negative test results required for OPP (Ovine Progressive Pneumonia), CL (Caseous Lymphadenitis), and Johne’s Disease.
- Flock Health: Must come from a clean, disease-free flock.
What we are looking for:
- Parasite Resistance: Documented FEC (Fecal Egg Count) resistance data. Proven performance in the rigorous, hot, and humid Southeast environment is a major plus.
- Conformation & Build: Excellent structural correctness, proper muscling, and sound hoof condition.
- Environment: Pasture born and raised with minimal supplementation a plus.
- Pedigree: Clear registration records and lineage.
- Maternal: Complete maternal function.
- Experience: Older, proven sires are highly appreciated!
Data Requirements:
Comprehensive testing paperwork, FEC data, recent photos, and videos will be required before purchase.
Semen, with breeding certificates, will be considered.

We offer a tiered pricing structure based on performance data through NSIP. This means you can choose what works best for your goals and budget. Lambs priced at $400-$600, includes registration and transfer. Buyers of ten or more animals enjoy a 10% discount. Buy 20 or more, the discount doubles to 20%.

After 120 day weights are done in early May 2026, the final decisions will be made on who makes it as Registered breeding stock, commercial breeding stock or market lambs.
